Talking on the phone vs. texting ( Which one is preferred)

This article is tackling the fact that many teens(who) rather communicate through texting than anything else.The texting phenomenon has out ruled all other communication(What). The fact that teens rather text than actually has taking over.This study is about teens in this current generation(when).The why wasnt answered in this article . This is happening the united states (Where)

Light Skin vs Dark Skin (among African Americans)

This article focused on the on going battle between light skin and dark skin people in the (Who)African American culture. This issue is that people in general rather sides with someone of lighter complexion(What).This issue is still going one in current days(When).It seems that the close your complexion is to white the better you are preferred(Why).

Community college vs University

This talks about why people might pick a community college over a university. Students that want a further education is the (Who).The facts of how well one did in high school can play a factor of what kind on future education is picked. That life after high school didn't allow them to just join college. These are just some(Whys). That people pick from the two. There isnt a particular (When) because deciding to join any kind of college can happen at any time is an adults life.The main (What) is what school is preferred by different people.

Library Ethnography Assignment

Our group did the topic: How do you get help using chat reference
 When walking into the library i noticed on the flat screen that the chat reference was being advertise. If you have no knowledge about the chat reference that is one way to find out.  These are the steps that we took for this project
1. Came up with a research question
2. Typed in the library website page address/ or you can go to the address that was advertised on the flat screen
3. After locating the chat reference simply typed in our question
4. After waiting we  verified that the librarian that was helping us fully understands our question
5.Than we went to the link that the librarian gave to us
6. Continued our research

My personal part of the project was: Coming up with the research question  and putting the power point together. I chose the background color and design on the power point. I entered in all images and came up with the graphics. I also made the actually power point from scratch on my personal computer. It was also my idea to take the picture of the flat screen TV that advertise the chat reference information.

trustworthy is important because if you are doing some kind of research you would want to know that its reliable.
reference is important because the fact that the information  came from creditable source . knowing where the information came from is also important to know if you are saying the right facts
accurate- is important because you wouldn't want to copy or give out the wrong information so knowing that the information has sources and reliable information is an important fact
point of view- knowing what other people think about the information is helping you to know that the facts are actual Facts 

Confused

There is actually a couple of this that I’m still confused about the library. The one thing that caught me off guard was the fact that our class wasn't held in the "library classroom". The fact that I’m not that familiar with the library i never could figure out what is the floor is the quiet floor. I notice that students work in the library but where do i locate the actual librarians.  I’m still not familiar with all the ways to look up book or other things that i might need for my future here at West Ga. The only thing that I’m really confused about with this class is the blogging. The class seems like even though it’s going to challenge my technology techniques I feel like its worthwhile taking. The blogging gives me a feeling that this class is going to be a lot harder than expected. What i am excited about is having about a better knowledge about the library and the resources that it has to offer me. The thing that really makes me excited is that just maybe I will no longer be technology dumb anymore. Maybe I’ll learn to become a better blogger!

Im from originally  Manhattan New York but went to school in  Gwinnett for a while. My major is psychology I picked psychology as my major because i love the human brain. The fact that or minds are so powerful just amazes me.Im taking this class to help with my research skills. Im hoping that i after this class my skills in the library will improve. The fact that my skills in research are going to get better im hoping that it will help me in other classes.  I wish i knew more about different cultures. Peoples background is something that always interest me. The fact that even though we are all humans people view life in such a different way and develop different morals.Im addicted to tattoos and piercings. Even though people have such a negative view on tattoos and piercings i love them. I feel like the fact that you can put a piece of art on your body blows my mind. I have seven tattoos and  i love them all equally. Even though i love them so much i have put them in places that can be covered. I want to be a professional psychologist and i want the people that im help to respect me and not necessarily judge me off of my tattoos.
